Try to have six to eight glasses a day. It may help to plan out when you will drink your water, especially in the winter when we do not feel like drinking much. 2. Increase Your Protein Intake

Getting plenty of protein will help you feel fuller and help with your hunger pangs. Try and eat protein with each meal. Breakfast is important, make sure you don’t miss this. You could have eggs for breakfast, lean meat like chicken or fish for lunch and lentils for dinner. If you feel hungry between meals, keep plenty of protein snacks like nuts to snack on.

3. Eat Smaller Portions By Using Smaller Plates

Portion size is so important for weight loss. By using smaller plates we can control our portion size too. On a small plate, our portions will look bigger,  this will make us satisfied with less food.

By cutting carbohydrates out of our food intake will make a drastic impact on your weight loss. The key to this is to do it gradually. Watch out for foods like sauces, ketchup and low-fat foods.

5. Snack On Fruit And Vegs

You will probably have read this so many times and made intentions to as well, but always find it hard to stick to. Keep fruit out on your kitchen top where it can be seen and ready to eat. Hiding it at the bottom of the fridge will not help. Cut up carrots, cucumbers and pack into small bags ready to eat on the go.

Keep a track of what you eat. This can help boost your weight loss and let yourself be accountable.
