Apply some of these following good eating habits to achieve a new healthier you. Even a few small changes can help you lose weight and keep it off.
1.Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is so important for weight loss. Start off the day with a glass of warm water. Drink it plain or add a bit of lemon juice to it. Try to have six to eight glasses a day. It may help to plan out when you will drink your water, especially in the winter when we do not feel like drinking much. Drink a glass of water about 15 to 30 minutes before your meal, this will help you feel more full and so your intake of calories will be lesser, which can make a significant difference to weight loss.
2. Increase Your Protein Intake
Getting plenty of protein will help you feel fuller and help with your hunger pangs. Try and eat protein with each meal. Breakfast is important, make sure you don’t miss this. You could have eggs for breakfast, lean meat like chicken or fish for lunch and lentils for dinner. If you feel hungry between meals, keep plenty of protein snacks like nuts to snack on.
3. Eat Smaller Portions By Using Smaller Plates
Portion size is so important for weight loss. By using smaller plates we can control our portion size too. On a small plate, our portions will look bigger, this will make us satisfied with less food.
